NEW YORK – March 26, 2024 –Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s nationally-recognized Construction Practice strategically expands with the additions of Robert A. Banner as partner, Maurizio Anglani as counsel, and Rachel Hong as an associate in the New York office. The trio, joining as a team from Ingram LLP, all have robust experience in construction litigation, transactional matters, and license agreement work, which will strengthen both the practice’s capabilities and its overall position in the market.

The Firm’s Construction Practice, recognized as a Law360 Practice Group of the Year in 2023 and ranked in both Chambers and Best Law Firms, is well-known throughout the industry for its role in the development of historic projects across New York. The team has secured the establishment of case law in relation to both adjacent access issues and mechanic’s liens and pre-construction services in recent years, further distinguishing themselves as leaders in construction.

Banner, well-renowned in the industry, joins the team with long-standing and accomplished experience in construction law and construction litigation. He represents owners, contractors, and design professionals in all phases of the construction and development process, and he regularly handles trials and arbitrations for a wide range of construction-related disputes.

Anglani, who has worked closely with Banner since 2016, focuses on both transactional and litigation matters and has experience handling adjacent access and license agreements. He works on construction issues such as defective construction, delays, breach of contract, negligent design, payment disputes, mechanic’s liens, and suretyship. Bilingual in English and Italian, Anglani will also partner with the Firm’s established International Group and advise Italian clients on construction matters related to their business operations in the U.S.

Hong is experienced in construction and design law. She represents corporate and individual clients in contract disputes, professional liability actions, condominium board issues, derivative lawsuits, and cases involving construction defects in both state and federal courts.
