NEW YORK (August 21, 2024) Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, a bi-coastal, full-service law firm with 125 lawyers, has promoted four attorneys, including one to partner and three to counsel, as the firm continues its strategic growth. The promotions span several core services of the firm’s 30-plus practice offerings.

Sandra A. Hudak (New York) is a partner in the Intellectual Property practice. She advises on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and unfair competition. She represents clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and handles trademark disputes in federal courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Her appellate experience includes drafting party and amicus briefs for the U.S. Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Sandra is experienced in the IP issues faced by brand owners and third-party sellers on online marketplaces like Amazon.

Matthew S. De La Torre (New York) is counsel in the firm’s Construction practice. He represents clients in all stages of construction litigation, including drafting pleadings, arguing motions and appeals, conducting depositions, and preparing for mediation, arbitration, and trial. He advises owners and developers on their contractual rights and regularly advises clients on and litigates the merits of project agreements.

Caitlin Delaney (New York) chairs the firm’s Canada practice and is counsel in the French and International practices. She represents French-speaking and other international startups, small- and medium-sized companies, and global brands on corporate matters, business agreements, and the protection of intellectual property assets. Caitlin also advises clients on cross-border transactions, representing international clients in the manufacturing, medical devices, technology, fashion and luxury, e-commerce, hospitality, and public relations sectors.

Edwin M. Hernández-García (New York) is counsel in the firm’s Immigration practice, advising individuals, mid-size companies, and large multinational corporations in business immigration, family-based immigration, and naturalization matters, as well as in obtaining immigration waivers and immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. He represents clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. consulates around the world.
