On October 11, Construction chair David Pfeffer will moderate the discussion at the Greenpearl Construction Risk & Safety Roundtable. The event is a closed-door, invite-only, peer-to-peer roundtable for leading construction safety and risk professionals. Key discussion topics will include: Local Law 196, Scaffold Law, high insurance rates, safety/risk as a profit center, union/open shop issues, safety training challenges, managing safety and insurance at the sub-contractor level OCIP and CCIP (owner controlled insurance and contractor controlled), and illness prevention programs. David was invited to serve as the moderator of the discussion after speaking at several Greenpearl construction conferences.
