Our Construction Practice has particular experience advising some of the most high-profile and exclusive educational institutions in New York City and beyond on their most critical transactional and dispute-related construction matters. Serving as a partner to charter schools and educational institutions, our Construction team advises clients in all phases of the construction process, negotiating complex transactions and guiding clients through construction-related disputes.
We engage and advise our educational clients on all legal challenges involved in the design, development, financing, performance, and management of major construction projects. Our team is skilled in handling the complex process of designing and building a new school through completion and counseling on adjacent access issues for their clients’ projects.
Understanding the nuances throughout the hospitality industry, we work closely with hotels, restaurants, licensors, and other hospitality clients on their construction needs. Our Construction team counsels hospitality clients on development and renovation projects, interior design work, adjacent access issues, and ADA compliance.
