During this program, “Intellectual Property Protection in China: Practical Realities,” Amy will discuss intellectual property protection and enforcement in China, as well as the reasons for the current intellectual property controversy. Topics to be covered include China’s membership in intellectual property treaties and conventions, how and when to file for patent, trademark and copyright protection, recordation with the Chinese Customs authorities enforcement mechanisms in China, including administrative and court proceedings and best practices regarding tech transfer.
